What to expect at our workshops

First things first — these workshops are not like other workshops.
There's no perfect outcome you're supposed to be working toward. No quiet judgement about your abilities or ideas. No feeling like everyone else knows what they're doing and you definitely don't.
Just a small group of creative people, a beautiful space, good materials, and a lot of tea.

The Space

Our workshops are held at The Artery Studios, a gorgeous creative hub and gallery on Croft Walk in Worcester.

The entrance is step free, parking is nearby, and the space is welcoming and relaxed.

You'll feel at home the moment you walk in.

The Group

We keep things intentionally small — maximum 10 people per workshop.

Enough to feel like a community, small enough that nobody gets left behind or lost in the crowd.

The Atomsphere

Relaxed. Genuinely. We mean it.

No perfectionism. No competition. No quietly comparing your work to the person next to you. Everyone is at a different stage and that's exactly as it should be.

Go at your own pace. Ask questions. Take breaks whenever. Make mistakes - honestly, the best things often start with a mistake.

The Teaching

Your host is Dopamine Divas founder and maker Katie, with over 30 years of experience behind the sewing machine, who also happens to be ADHD and autistic.

This means the workshops are occasionally a little chaotic, always a lot of fun, and run by someone who genuinely understands what it feels like to be a neurodivergent person in a world that wasn't designed for you.

What's Included

All materials are provided — everything you need to make, create and embellish is there waiting for you. If you have favourite threads, fabrics or notions you love working with, you're absolutely welcome to bring them along.

Oh, and tea, coffee and biscuits are included. Obviously.
